Life in the animal kingdom is full of struggles. If an animal is not running for its life, it is for its prey. This is natural, except in the lives of sloths.
The sloth is a known mammal that moves extremely slowly. It is no accident that it evolved as a sloth saying.
The sloth is also characterized by its movement on the trees, at the level of the canopy. Even if very slowly, but it moves. They rarely climb on the ground, and their already slow movement on the ground is downright unnatural and suta.
We don’t even think that the way and where the sloth lives is the rarely chosen lifestyle. The slow animal, which consumed only plant food, has remained among the foliage to this day because lazy movement is also acceptable there. On land, at ground level, his life would be cut short.
Consuming leaves is the sloth’s diet, but this food provides little energy to its consumer. So it is a safe place to live and eat, but there is a price to pay. Once upon a time, there were much larger sloths and could not be on top of the trees because of their weight. It also became their loss. They hunted them all down, they became extinct. The sloths living today are smaller and tucked up in the trees, where there are no enemies, a lot of food, but little energy transferred, so their rhythm of life also adapted to it. Life in the trees is aided by their large claws, which allow them to cling securely, and sleep also hangs on the tree. The slaves had to adapt a lot to this. This also means that their daily energy needs are as much as if they were consuming a medium-sized potato.
