Many parents may decide to take their first pet fish as their child. They soon realize that it will be their task to provide the fish and keep the aquarium clean. Something's different.
There are those who skip the aquarium at first and prefer to enter a small pet that the children can catch in their hands, so they can feel more caring for the animal.
It is not so complicated to keep a hamster, but some basic things need to be considered. An appropriate cage or aquarium is required for the home of a small rodent into which the shavings are placed. It can be equipped with a drinker, a feeder, a wheel in which you can run and you should also be able to wear your teeth. The teeth of the hamsters are constantly growing, so you should always wear it.
For some individuals, it is congenital that the teeth grow abnormally, but they can be a serious problem even if they are not properly worn. Health problems and wounds can be caused by overweight teeth.
The best way to prevent this is to provide a dentist that is also available in the pet store, as well as a branch of an apple tree, or a dog coat. If, however, the hamster's teeth are too large, it has to be pinched with nail clips. There are many who hold this, but then let's trust the vet.
A more common problem among older hamsters is the breakage of teeth, which makes it difficult to eat. Teeth may break even if the hamster is on a calcium-poor diet. In this case, dry food can also be an excellent food supplement.
Have you ever thought that tooth decay is a growing problem amongst hamsters? It hurts them the same way as a human being, so if we see the swelling of the face, salivation and heavy eating on our pets, the veterinarian is heading. The decayed tooth must be removed.
