They asked for help rescuing puppies

The job of firefighters isn’t just about extinguishing fires. Their work is much more complex and diverse than that.

U.S. firefighters are accustomed to sometimes asking for help rescuing animals in distress. This time, they received a desperate phone call to find several orphaned pups at the bottom of a rain gutter.

The unit quickly arrived at the scene and the puppies were indeed found, who were found to have entered the drain due to newborn puppies and more rain. The mother animal was nowhere to be found, so all the pups were collected and taken immediately to a veterinarian. The specialist drew attention to the fact that the rescued puppies are not even dogs but foxes.
