The predator is not only afraid of its prey, but also of most people. Fear can be justified if you look for your prey even among farm animals.
Golden jackets have been farming in the Carpathian Basin for a long time, but they also visited us from time to time. However, only a few specimens could be observed in the 1980s.
Well, that has changed a lot by now. There was still a time when conservationists wanted so much to help the species settle in the home that they called for a ban on hunting. It has managed so well that today its stock can be as high as tens of thousands. This can only be thought of because hunters shoot up to 6,000 specimens a year.
The problem with golden jackets is that they also decimate large game stocks, but they also do not spare livestock keepers. They pose a danger to lambs, but even to cattle calves.
