In many cases, firefighters had to be rescued from ice-water because they tried to cross the ice as they shortened their journey, but their weight was not able to withstand the ice.
We also had news about these backups, but in Slovakia we didn't have to save dogs from ice. Hunters noticed that there was a deer on the surface of the frozen lake. The roe fleeing from the stray dogs was safe on ice. But where dogs no longer threatened the ice, it was another difficulty.
The hunters informed the firefighters who had been approached by a special air mattress near the ice-covered roe.
The scared animal didn't really try to escape. Relatively easy he allowed him to approach, pulled to the mattress and set out on the beach. There was a flat car from there, then released in a nearby forest.
