Approaching Christmas, more and more animal protection and shelter workers are calling attention to the fact that we do not surprise our family members with live animals.
It is not because I want less to bring true joy at Christmas, but rather to encourage long-term thinking. The little favorites live not only during the holiday season, but much longer.
This is a long-term commitment and should be thought through. Most people are thinking about a dog or a cat, although even a dwarf can be a little favorite.
Pig in the house? That's out!
But the dwarfs are not only pure animals, but they are really small. They can grow up to 60 kilos as adult animals, and if they do much, they can behave like dogs.
The dwarf bird is clean, smart and can be kept in the house, but it is necessary to walk like a dog. Of course, if you have a garden of the right size, you can have a calm and balanced animal. Piglets need the company, bear the closeness and the loneliness badly. This also shows that keeping a dwarf is a less commitment than a man is holding a cat or dog.
