Anesthesia is waiting for the hamsters

For farmers, the hamster is just a pest, while many of these small rodents live in a loving family as pets.

The hamster is almost never missing from the supply of pet stores. It was no different in the Hong Kong store from which the owners bought 11 rodents. The story so far is not special. What is new about, however, is that before the animals were sold, they were found to be infected with a coronavirus. An even bigger concern is that not only were these barely a dozen animals covidos, but there could easily be many more. Specifically, the infection could affect up to two thousand animals purchased after December 22, 2021.

The 11 specimens that were actually found to be covidos have now called on their owners to destroy their little pets. Well, who's giving up your little pet like that?

Farmers are looking for escapes to save their animals. Hamsters should be cast at collection points, but animal rights activists are campaigning for the animals. However, it should be noted that where the hamsters come from, an employee of the shop is also ill, covidos.

The hamsters came from the Netherlands. However, the Hong Kong leadership has introduced zero tolerance and is asking owners to hand over the animals, and has closed all animal shops where hamsters are kept.
