Frosty turtle rescue

We’re looking forward to spring and its arrival is promising, but Texas had had a frost never seen before a few weeks before.

Animals froze despite trying to save them. Among them, they also fought for the lives of thousands of sea turtles, which were collected along the shores of Texas in a frozen state. The turtles immediately fell into expert hands, as long as they were alive, as unfortunately most of them could no longer help.

Of the approximately 13,000 turtles, 4,300 could be rescued and released. It was not enough that they had to deal with the turtles by freezing, many of them had other problems as well: they got hooks in their bodies, traces of collisions with boats were found on their bodies.
