Think of our own more direct medium. Maybe only one or two people can tell you that no pets live in your household. Dogs and cats are in first place.
Hungary is a dog-friendly country and this is true even in comparison with nearby countries. At least one dog lives with 36% of Hungarian families. Despite this, animal shelters are full of crowds and lack of professionals in many places.
A common problem is that when a family wants to take a dog, they only deal with this state. They do not expect to keep a dog for nearly two decades. With the change of living conditions, many people say about the animal they have been living with for years. In the better case, they try to find a suitable new owner for the dog, but for them, the shelter could be a better solution. And those who are not familiar with responsible animal husbandry can easily get rid of the dog by putting it on the street.
Animal husbandry is definitely an expense activity, so you have to think about whether you can fit into our lives. You need to think in time, money and opportunity. The unexpected proliferation is also a problem, instead of deciding on neutering. After a one-time release, such a problem should no longer be faced. Most of the dogs in the shelter are animals captured from the streets, but there are always some dogs that have been abandoned by their owners because they have chosen an inadequate breed before, so they can't take care of them.
