After the two stray animals were struggling, the animal attacking the child escaped, while the dog protecting the child was left with serious injuries in the yard. The mother called the animal protectors who caught her and brought the injured animal to the shelter. They began to heal and were declared acceptable after their recovery.

Maybe it is not so surprising that the family of the dog whose child was protected by the dog from another animal came up for the stray dog. They felt they had to do something for a dog without a loving family who saved their daughter's life.
