There was no prison sentence

It was a huge outrage in every well-to-do man that the woman who tied her dog behind her car and dragged it for meters did so.

The sin of the big-bodied puppy was that he was scared and ran away in the storm. In the rage of his master, he went after the dog by car, and when he found the animal, he did not put it in the car, but tied it up after that. The animal was able to keep up the pace of the car for a while, but not later, so it failed. She didn't take that into account, so she dragged the animal after her. It was then that the enraged woman was stopped by a commuter who also held her accountable for her deed. Allowing this, the woman released the dog, who was barely alive, from the car. The animal soon died.

There is no question that this irresponsible behavior cried out for punishment, resulting in a verdict. The first-instance verdict is not final, the prosecutor is appealing for aggravation, while the accused and his counsel are appealing for dismissal, or at least mitigation.

The woman who tortured her dog to death was sentenced to 10 months in prison for her deed, meaning she did not have to go to jail.
