Dachshunds and especially chihuahuas are the ones who bark their fellow dogs at a volume that belies their bodies and behave accordingly. Genetics and education also have a role to play in this.

For species bred for larger conservation and protective work, it is important that the blood temperature is appropriate. In the case of small dogs, they are certainly not selected on this basis, because in their case, temperament does not have such a role and a risk factor. At the same time, it is also important how the farmer reacts to any aggressive action. While in the case of a larger dog, the restraint and calming of the animal is immediately given priority so as not to cause trouble to others, small dogs cannot cause serious injury and, accordingly, do not take it threateningly, ominously.
