One and a half billion help

Anyone who helps in some form of shelter or tries to help animals in need will surely be happy with the new news.

Increasing attention is being paid to animal welfare and the reduction of animal torture. By now, this attention has reached such an extent that the Animal Welfare Code of Hungary has been born, and now, based on a government resolution, animal welfare can be managed for HUF 1.5 billion. The aim is to reduce the number of stray animals and increase the effectiveness of animal welfare.

Thanks to this help, ebredry settlements, animal welfare associations and the municipalities of settlements with less than 5,000 inhabitants also receive help.

Civil society organizations can target a larger amount by submitting an application. For the applications, the Ministry of Agriculture can use the amount won for neutering, continuous maintenance and expansion of the place.
