Munch is a Hungarian food rescue company whose goal is to reduce food waste and thereby promote sustainable, responsible food trade and consumption. The initiative, which is available through an application and a website, offers a quick and convenient solution to food saving. All SPAR and INTERSPAR stores throughout the country have already joined the initiative, so anyone, anywhere in the country can do something to reduce waste. The process is simple: you just have to book the package you have chosen on the free mobile application or via the website, pay online, and then you can pick it up at the selected store within a specified time frame.

In the SPAR Munch packages, vegetables, fruits, fruit juices, packaged and unpackaged breads, baked goods, salty and sweet delicacies, dairy products, pasta, salami, cold meats, fresh eggs, as well as other products that do not require refrigeration are available at a 66% discount, i.e. we can knock on various products for about a third of the original price. In practice, this means that the roughly HUF 3,000 package can be purchased for HUF 1,000, while the HUF 1,500 package can be purchased at a "munchos" price of HUF 500.
