For many, nothing is clearer than having a dog as a family member of the same value as anyone else. Love can come and go, but the dog is constant.
Because we are responsible for them from the moment we take it upon ourselves. Neither love nor relationship can change that. Or yet?
No matter how dog-friendly you are and live accordingly, your puppy may not tolerate the changes well. Not even if you have a new relationship. Until something worked out between you in your previous relationship, your puppy may have gotten along well with him. But isn't the dog's relationship with the new admirer so harmonious?
You don't have to get frustrated right away. The initial distance does not mean that it will stay that way forever. We shouldn’t give up, but we respect our dog’s feelings and behavior. The unknown person does not want to sweeten the dog at all costs. Leave enough distance and leave the dog close to the degree of approach.
The key is to keep nothing on the dog. He should be given time and space and, very importantly, peace of mind. If the new person and the dog have already spent enough time (spiced up some distance) with each other, there is no conflict between them, sooner or later the puppy will approach.
