MagNet customers can decide on the fate of nearly 46 billion HUF - The amount will help good social goals
Budapest, May 14, 2018 - For the tenth time, MagNet Bank provides its clients with the opportunity to support important issues from the bank's profit through its community support initiative - the Community Donation Program (CAP). In 2019, a total of 45,926,080 forints were earned by MagNet Bank, which became a trademark of the CAP. Customers can post their voices to 56 projects this year through the bank's surfaces. The initiative launched in 2010 is one of the cornerstones of MagNet Community Bank operations, where the Bank waives 10% of its annual profit to give its customers the right to make use of it. (X)
Each year, MagNet individually notifies its customers of its post-tax profits, adding that the recipients themselves have contributed exactly to the resulting profits. Customers can have 10% of the latter - that is, everyone has their own profit margin - and they can help foundations, associations and important social issues.
In the period since its launch in 2010, the CAP has allocated a total of 260,421,962 forints to the MagNet 649 social project - a total of 197,171 client-side appointments.
A total of nearly 40,000 customers will have access to a total of HUF 46 million this year. The disposal period begins on May 13, 2019, and will last for about one and a half months.
MagNet Community Development Director Csaba Molnár said: “The distribution method of the MagNet Bank Donation Program is unique on the market. At the community bank, because it is not me or my colleagues who decide what kind of support they receive, we have only our own profit margin. At MagNet this year, the combined will of nearly 40,000 customers will prevail, reflecting the true choice of our community. It is a great pleasure for me that the number of those who realize that the impact of their financial decisions on society is visible can be quantified from year to year. The KAP Program is a good example of this: all our 40s are needed to serve this year's 46 million fortune. ”
Customers of the Community Bank may personally, through telephone, Netbank and the Bank's website , have a profit margin on them. Here you can find information about the projects you choose, and then you can see how your favorite organization's support grows day by day. Grants will be transferred to the organizations at the beginning of July by MagNet.
In the future, as in previous years, the list of participants in the program may expand further. The Bank is waiting for the proposals at the address kap@magnetbank.hu throughout the year, which NGOs should be included in the scope of support, while the application will be made on the Bank's website in the autumn.
