Animal shelters, shelter workers, all long for the fate of their protégés to turn right.
Logan, the fate of the Belgian Shepherd, was not always welcome. It was found in a breeding farm, according to a public announcement, in very poor conditions. After being evacuated from poor conditions he was taken to a shelter. As he got stronger, they tried to find an owner for him.
That's when a chief sergeant noticed him. This breed is especially suitable for a search dog. However, it was not possible to know what Logan's personality was, so he took part in a thirty-day aptitude test. They examined how he behaves in foreign conditions, what his personality is like, whether he can fit in, whether he is afraid of height, depth, sounds.
It was unpredictable what Logan would look like, but even the trainer was surprised at how quickly and easily the eb, freed from such harsh conditions, adapted and talented. So now there is no obstacle to starting the process of becoming an explosive detection dog next March.
