With the adoption of a government decree, they also regulate the tasks and control of the Ebrenade settlements, the reception of stray animals, the transfer of ownership and their placement. The aim of all this is to make the life of the animals on the animal farms more modern from the point of view of public and animal health and animal welfare.
The minimum time spent at the colonies will also change, which means 45 days instead of the previous 14 days. During this time, a register of animals entering is kept and this must be published on their website. Moreover, the government decree specifies the minimum housing area for animals, their care requirements and the conditions for group housing.
Each municipality must have a colony of law enforcement or law enforcement. The main goal is to get the eb back from these farms to the original owner. Part of the government decree will enter into force on 1 January 2022 and others on 1 July.
