We come with a lovely story that made a dog's sad and uncertain fate certain.

There are runaway dogs and there are even runaway dogs. Well, Lola might be in the latter category. This dog was wearing a collar, which wouldn't be so special, except that it also had a tag on the collar with the inscription "Please help. Take me to the shelter. My name is Lola.”

A police officer noticed the dog, which appeared to be abandoned. And the dog could feel the intention to help, because it not only approached the policeman, but also sat in the police car. That's when the man noticed the writing on the note.

Probably a runaway from the shelter who can't (always) be stopped. The police have temporarily taken Lola under their protection until it is clear how to proceed.
