Grapes can be dangerous

One of our seasonal fruits is ripe grapes, which is an excellent and vitamin-rich delicacy for us, but our dogs can also taste it.

Sure, delicate grapes can be that for dogs as well, but it can also cause trouble for their health. Did you know this? Consumption of grapes and raisins in dogs can cause kidney problems that can be accompanied by symptoms of lethargy, decreased urine, thirst, and nausea. And an untreated condition can even be life-threatening or fatal.

Grapes and raisins are dangerous for dogs, but not equally for all. The body of dogs can react very differently to the fruit. There are cases in which even a small amount of grape consumption shows symptoms of poisoning in the puppy. This is not only true for fresh grapes. Raisins may be an even greater danger. For milder symptoms, other behaviors of the dog, it is also advisable to consult a veterinarian before great trouble occurs.
