Fun for the dog, harm to nature

For indoor dogs, it is natural and necessary to walk at least twice a day to meet both movement and needs.

It’s only natural for dog owners to take their pets for a walk. Moreover, they even take their dogs with them on trips and multi-day trips. There is nothing special about this. However, few owners reconsider that dog feces and urine can even be harmful to nature.

Dogs walking in nature reserves, for example, are so damaging to the environment that it is already dangerous to the wildlife that lives there. The substances in the urine and faeces of dogs make the soil over-fertilized. When broken down into a dog, it leaves behind at least 11 kilograms of nitrogen and 5 kilograms of phosphorus in nature, which is already as much a burden on the environment as industry, agriculture or transport.
