Festive dangers to look out for

We have written countless times about the dangers of the upcoming holiday, the New Year. However, this period also holds other dangers.

Soon New Year’s Day is here, and self-forgotten parties can involve not only eating, drinking, music and dancing, but even firecrackers and fireworks. Many dogs are exposed to strong light and sound. If the owner does not secure his pet, he could easily run away from home and put himself in even greater danger.

However, the holiday season also holds other dangers:

Pine tree

In the case of cats and dogs, coniferous evergreens can also be a toy, but at the same time they can cover themselves, causing them more headaches and more headaches for their owners.

Ornaments

The wedges of the Christmas tree look nice on the tree, but they don’t fit in the tummy of our favorites. However, they do not consider this and can “breathe” these ornaments, which can cause serious health problems.

Hot line

For us, it is almost an obligatory element of the festive period, but at the same time the colorful and flashing lights attract our favorites. They can also chew the cord out of curiosity and out of play, which can lead to electric shock, burns or even fire.

Candle

In the winter, we like candles anyway, but even if a pet lives with us, it requires even more care in handling it. Our dogs and cats can drop a burning candle, which can be injurious and life-threatening for them and us.

Sweetness

What is delicious to humans can even be toxic to dogs and cats.
