Dozens of dogs were rescued from the hands of the old owner

Animal husbandry is a big undertaking, whether it’s a farm animal or a pet. We take responsibility for them while they are with us.

It would all be nice and good if this were the case for all animal keepers, but animal rights activists could tell you about a lot of horrors. The dog-keeping method of an elderly man in Csévharaszti only enriches these stories. Animal defenders and police worked together to escape the port.

Several dogs lived with the man, but it was more about survival, as most of them were in very poor condition. Two of them were in such bad skin that they needed more serious medical care. The others were taken to a safe place, a shelter.

Most of the puppies were chained waiting for their owner to give them food, but this was not commonplace, so they were malnourished. They lived in their own feces. The animal that was free tried to get food, but with little success.
