We humans are so different that even in dog selection, we find something else good and appealing.

This is lucky because all dog breeds can find a loving owner. Some are looking for the calmer breed, while others make sure the animal doesn’t shed less hair or take too much time to deal with. Some people take body size as their primary consideration and, of course, care must be taken to choose the breed that suits their living conditions. There are those for whom habitus is important and desire to expand with a clownish, small family member.
