Based on this, we distinguish between extroverted and introverted personality types. The first category includes easy-going, more open-minded, world-oriented individuals, while introverts are more difficult to make friends and are much more alienated from outside influences.

A distinction is also made between keeping a dog or a cat. There are dogs and cats. Of course, the two can come together, and there are quite a few who come from both species.

One study looked at whether there was a difference in personality traits between a dog and a cat holding a cat. Examining the results, it was found that those who only shared their lives with cats were more introverted, whereas dog keepers were more open to the world. This may be even more true for dog carriers that need to move out of the four walls with their pet to get their dog to do his job and move. As a result, since cats do not have to move out of the house twice a day, cat owners are more likely to turn inward.
