Beyond aesthetics

People, including ladies, care a lot about the condition, beauty, and grooming of their nails. But it's not just important to us.

While we care for our hands and nails mainly for aesthetic reasons, the least reason for maintaining claws in dogs is aesthetics. It is much more necessary to take care of it for health reasons.

Dogs ’karma can wear off to the right amount outdoors and isn’t a problem then, but if they move little outdoors, spend a lot of time in the apartment, you may sooner or later have to face overgrown claws.

A long claw also means a longer nail bed, so if we try to remove the overgrowth, we could easily cut into the sensitive area. Let's leave the claw cutting to a specialist instead. The long claw also affects the dog’s posture, not favorably.
