Ancient reaction is howling

We smile when our dog starts moaning. Music, singing, sound playing car? It may be familiar to many, right?

A plethora of videos capture how the dog responds to a sound with a loud squeak. It's like getting into what you started. Would that be the dogs singing or rather crying?

It’s all a funny scene for humans, but do dogs also do it because they enjoy the sound and want to continue in their own way?

Dogs express themselves by barking and howling. The latter serves the purpose of reaching far beyond the sound that eb emits. This is how wolves communicate with each other and this means that the herd belongs together, thus strengthening their relationship. This is exactly why dogs behave this way. They inform their distant peers, keep in touch with each other.

However, dogs use barking as a general communication. The howling is much more defunct, but at the same time certain sounds may resemble the howling from this point of view, to which they react in a higher voice and with a prolonged roar as an ancient reaction.
