We start with an eight-part video series. Nine because that's the number of Hungarian dog breeds. A short film was also made about the nine varieties.
The nine native dog breeds include the Komondor, the Puli, the Pumi, the Kuvasz, the Transylvanian Hound, the Hungarian Shorthaired Pointer, the Wirehaired Hungarian Vizsla, the Mud and the Hungarian Greyhound.
The mudi is an excellent herding dog, but also the least known shepherd dog. Probably the XVII. and XIX. century is the fruit of the love of Hungarian herding dogs and German Shepherds with standing ears, which at first glance seems to be a mixture. Any color can be a mudi, but the most common are brown, black, white, ash.
The smart, intelligent mudi also has good work ability, learns quickly, is agile. Due to its small size and good adaptability, it can even be kept in an apartment as an urban dog.
