We start with an eight-part video series. Nine because that's the number of Hungarian dog breeds. A short film was also made about the nine varieties.
The nine native dog breeds include the Komondor, the Puli, the Pumi, the Kuvasz, the Transylvanian Hound, the Hungarian Shorthaired Pointer, the Wirehaired Hungarian Vizsla, the Mud and the Hungarian Greyhound.
We present the Transylvanian Hound, which was a popular hunting dog in the noble courts. Did you know that the Transylvanian Hound has two versions? The longer and shorter legs, each formed by differences in terrain.
A XX. In the 19th century, the species almost became extinct, but fortunately a larger population developed in Hungary and neighboring Romania.
The hunting instinct of the Transylvanian Hound is rooted in its genetics, it cannot get rid of it, so even during a walk a wild animal jumping out of the bush can be a danger. It requires a lot of movement.
