34 years for extinguishing the life of a police dog

Despite his young age, the American man had already committed several crimes. As a result, he was sentenced to 11 years in prison. That’s not all, as it was one of the crimes that sewed around his neck for another three decades.

The young man was involved in the robbery of a grocery store, as was Jethro, a K-9 police dog, for catching the perpetrators. Then several shots hit his body. Jethro was killed, but the shooter was also injured and captured. A harsh sentence was handed down for the man who shot the police dog. In addition to his existing 11-year prison sentence, he received another 34 years for killing the police dog. With this act, he not only destroyed one animal, but also posed a threat to the police officers working at the time, to several people when his crimes were committed.
