The Nyíregyháza Animal Park has a very successful year, and 2019 started very promising.
Success was measured by the number of visitors, but it requires a variety of animal species, as the animals attract the visitors.
On January 1, 2019, livestock grew with a new one, and the first zoo baby was born. A Grevy zebra dancer was born, a small stallion, so he was clearly named New Year's Eve.
Calving started earlier than expected, and perhaps the end of the year fireworks and fireworks play a role. In any case, the foal came to the world intact and healthy.
The little one may be with his mother in a heated place. Over time, it will be with the five-strong team of zebras.
Grevy's zebra is less than 2,000 in nature, so the newest resident of the Nyíregyháza Animal Park will play an important role in the European Conservation Program.
