The Polish zoo is pleased with the newcomer, but even more so.
In December, the penguin of the Gdansk Zoo was released. Although he was born wholly healthy, he had to be separated from his companions in order to avoid being destroyed, because the little penguin was very different from the others.
The albino individual is a real rarity for all animal species and humans. This specialty was seen by his companions, so he had to be removed. In the zoo environment, the young albino person is as likely to survive as the others, but it is almost certain that he would not have survived as yet, because he is more exposed to the risk of predators, and even more susceptible to disease.
The Gdansk zoo workers held the albino stranger with their parents, as well as their peaceful counterparts who did not expose themselves because they looked different.
