They were barely happy, they were already facing a loss at the zoo

On September 2, the tapir baby of the Metropolitan Zoo and Botanical Garden came to life, but they couldn't be long.

Suki, mama tapir just a week ago gave life to her little one. Even at birth, Géza, the father, was present. Everything was as it should. She was properly cared for by her mother, which was even helped by caregivers. In the few minutes after the birth, the little tapir was standing, showing that the little one was okay.

At the weekend, caregivers noticed that a few days of tapir would not move more, but more and more tired, sleeping much more than they needed. The joy of the arrival of the little newcomer soon became a concern, and when the situation had become sinister, even veterinarians were involved. Unfortunately, despite the rapid human reaction, the proper maternal and caregivers, veterinary assistance, they lost the little painter who was born with health problems that couldn't help him.

A week ago, all the zoo workers were very pleased that they had been born with tapir, as it hadn't been an example for decades, and now they had to face the loss.
