We reported the unfortunate news that two elephants from the safari park in Sada were also killed.
The park, owned by the Hungarian National Circus, offered the opportunity to admire the animals, including elephants, up close by car. However, two animals died and only their third companion could be rescued.
The news of the dead animals was not even reported by the circus and the park, but by animal rights activists who said the animals drowned in the truck carrying them. This was denied by the circus, but it is also certain that no autopsies were performed on the animals, so the cause of death is unknown.
Today, the case is that Nébih has initiated official proceedings in the case of the killed elephants, as the park did not act properly. They have violated animal welfare and animal carcass disposal rules. There was even a suspicion of animal torture.
