Until now, we knew that the large ice block is melting more and more in the North Pole, and with it, the land of polar bears is also in danger.
And if the living area of polar bears decreases, it means that polar bears are also on the verge of extinction. We may not be announcing anything new with this, but the latest news is also devastating.
The southern edge of the North Pole is particularly favored by bears with white fur. However, their number does not even reach a thousand. It's true that in 2016 it didn't even approach 900, but in 2021 there were barely 600 polar bears in the Churchill area. This means that, compared to the 1980s, the population of these huge predators is less than half. Not only do they need enough food to survive, but it is an even greater challenge for them to raise the unborn offspring.
