Therapeutic animals are also prison inmates

Residents of penitentiary institutions are not there for nothing. They are held accountable for their actions by serving their sentences in prison and out of society.

The prison is not only meant to tear off those who have committed serious crimes, but also to be able to rethink their deeds, isolated from the outside world, to find their weight and return to the right path at the same time as their punishment.

Well, animals can help them with that. An animal petting was set up in one of the British prisons for this reason. As owners, we know well how much fun our animals bring. Of the English prisons, the institution is considered the worst. Violence is not uncommon at all, so the proximity of animals may also reduce tension. Residents of the petting zoo thus participate as a therapeutic animal among the detainees.
