The Swiss wolf roams the area around Buda

The wolf that first appeared only in Vértes has been in our country for some time now.

Recently, however, it has already been noticed in the catchment area of the Buda part of the capital. They did not see the animal, but since it is a specimen equipped with a tracker, they can track its movements.

The wolf started from Switzerland, and has traveled hundreds of kilometers since then. When it reached Hungary, the organization supplying the beacon informed the domestic nature conservation authorities about the predator's presence.

They believe that even though its movement has slowed down, it probably won't stay in one place and there is little chance of seeing it, because it is wary of humans.
