There are many giant pandas in zoos around the world, but they all have something in common. Moreover, none of the animals are the property of the given nation.
All giant pandas belong to China, but this does not mean that these animals cannot be seen elsewhere. These precious and rare animals also find a home in foreign zoos.
Quite a few zoos in America are home to pandas, but now China has decided to put an end to that. In other words, in theory, the American institutions have reached the end of the agreement concluded with the Chinese wildlife protection authority. In other words, they refer to this and deny the accusations that it has anything to do with politics.
3 pandas will be sent from Washington to China already this year, and the other zoos will send the animals back by the end of next year.
Regardless of politics, the animals would be repatriated if they reached a certain age. Then there are animals whose repatriation has been delayed due to the coronavirus epidemic.
