The former soldier rescued his protégés

The media is loud about the events in Afghanistan as a multitude of Afghans try to flee Kabul. Others would try.

After the retirement of a former soldier, Paul Farthing, he worked to provide space for stray dogs and cats in Kabul. He set up a shelter, but now not only Afghans, but these rescued animals are in the same trouble.

Paul Farthing rented a flight at his own expense in order to transport the animals to a safe place and evacuate the Afghans working in the shelter in addition to the animals.

All of this seems nice, but it was also an attack on the former soldier that rescuing animals was ahead of those of humans, so the British Secretary of Defense rejected all this in the first place. Eventually, with 200 animals and nearly 70 Afghans, the retired Marine rescued the flight.

Moods did not subside with the case as the evacuation was stopped, meaning the rescue is very slow.
