Penguins can't stand it either

In Australia, the fire raged and then the water took over in the form of heavy rain. In Canada, winter is cold.

Even if it's just that it's cold in the winter, the current cold is so uncomfortable that even the penguins can't stand it. Calgary Zoo penguins aren't even released.

What? After all, penguins have their original habitat in cold, snowy environments and icy water, right? All of this is true, but temperatures below minus 15 degrees can be tolerated by them. In contrast, life in Canada is now minus 25 degrees. It's the kind of cold that penguins don't like, let alone people.

That's why the zoo staff decided not to let the animals outside the runway until the weather eased.
