Among primates, chimpanzees, orangutans, and gorillas not only look like humans in their appearance, but often their behavior is very human.
The Borneo orangutans living in the Paris Zoo are important residents of the institution, as they belong to severely endangered species. In zoos, it would be a good idea to breed such species, but this has not been the case in the French zoo around the orangutans since 2005. It is also under artificial conditions, but it is also difficult for animals to survive in nature, as their natural habitat is constantly dwindling and even poachers are applying for them.
No wonder Theodora, the female orangutan, was very happy when she gave birth to a healthy offspring. Born in mid-October, little father Banggi. The little one has already given a name. As a female offspring, she got the name Java.
Thanks to the good relationship between caregivers and orangutans, the mother took her own to show her little one to the people.
