In the Metropolitan Animal and Plant Garden they also noticed that the eight-year-old mother, Dorka, and one of her female puppies were pregnant at about the same time, so the time of calving was roughly the same. A few days later, the Asian wild dog litter was born. Most of Dorka's former puppies have now become sexually mature, and many of them have been happy with the wildlife breeding. A total of 11 puppies were born.
But don't just talk about the mother. Jano, also the father of the male and all the puppies.
The puppies are so big that the little ones who want to discover the world after their mothers are also on the runway full of visitors.
Since 2008, the Budapest Animal and Plant Garden has been dealing with breeding and breeding of Asian wild dogs within breeding programs. This year is certainly a success.
