The domestic cat is one of the most common pets. Moreover, in some places it is not even native, yet it is extremely widespread.
The Iberian lynx is only similar to the domestic cat in that it is a feline, except that this animal species was on the verge of extinction. A male, Aura, saved his own species from this process.
She was only three months old when Aura was captured, but since then she has been helping to save her own kind. This means that he is the father of nearly a thousand copies.
The number of big cats living on the Iberian Peninsula has drastically decreased. Their number did not reach a hundred. To save them, they started a breeding program.
This is where Aura comes into play, who made a significant contribution to this. Until now, because he died at the age of twenty.
