Where where? The Metropolitan Zoo and Botanical Garden. This is how they want to celebrate Earth Day.
Every year on April 22nd is about our planet, our future. On Earth Day, many organizations are trying to raise awareness of environmental awareness, nature and animal welfare.
Not surprisingly, domestic zoos are adding to this initiative. This year, the Budapest Zoo commemorates Earth Day with a series of events from Friday to Sunday.
On the first day of the three-day event, mainly pre-school and school groups are welcome, but of course others can visit the zoo, as well as on weekends, as they have great programs. Of course, all related to animals, nature, so there will be visual feeding, animal demonstration and training, themed walks, creative activities.
Sunday’s highlight will be a public celebration of Samu, the birthday of one-year-old elephant calf.
