High age is a gift. It means that we are able to maintain our health for a good long time. Just like a gazelle.
And the mhorr gazelle that lives in the Metropolitan Zoo and Botanical Garden is quite alive. It is the oldest such gazelle in the country. In fact, you can go even further. Evita, the gazelle lady, also took the title of the oldest gazelle in the world, as she is 18 years older than her peers.
The animal, born in late April 2001, had one that lived an even longer age. That gazelle was almost 19.5 years old.
