End of distraction, new future begins?

The zoo is a place where non-native animals can live safely, breed and prevent potential extinction.

But that was not the fate of the zoo dwellers who lived in an institution in France. Their conditions were so bad that they were desperately trying to save the animals there.

They rallied to save the residents and organized a collection for them. This was so surprisingly successful that they raised money in a few days to bring the zoo's inhabitants back to a better place or to their original habitat.

NGOs and individuals put together the money and more than was necessary to implement the plan. However, the collection continues, since even beyond that, animals can be helped.

The zoo is being wound up, and in its place is likely to be a center for the animals escaped from smuggling.
