Coolio has a partner

Thanks to breeding programs, many endangered animal species can multiply with new individuals. Every new copy is of great importance.

The Debrecen Zoo is also part of the breeding program, within the framework of which the female leopard named Jilin arrived. The animal, which arrived on the last day of August, has since discovered and got used to its new environment, so visitors can already admire it.

Apart from the fact that it is a rare and beautiful animal, it is also of great importance to Jilin, because they hope to like each other with the zoo's male, Coolio.

They expect not only to like each other, but also to reproduce successfully.
