More and more is known about the coronavirus, but there are still unanswered areas.
It has already been shown that coronavirus cats can also catch the virus. It has now become clear that they can spread the disease among themselves. Many even got rid of their cats and dogs before it was proven that animals could get the virus, which was dangerous to humans. Uncertainty and fear made people put their animals on the streets. It is not yet certain whether the coronavirus can spread from cat to human, but giving up an animal is not the best solution at all.
Experiments have shown that cats that are already coronavirus can infect their healthy counterparts. Although most infected cats did not even appear to be infected with the virus, they were still present in their bodies and could be passed on to other cats.
