The naked kitten got crocheted ears

Living kittens in the care of a responsible host can get sick, but the orphaned kittens face a much greater ordeal each day.

A cat caught in the street because of his apparently poor condition also lived his life as a raccoon cat in America. His body was attacked by a serious infection that had become overwhelming in his ears and had to be removed.

Without ears, cats look strangely like humans without eyebrows. Even healthy animals can sometimes find it difficult to find a breeder, so a kitten with a deceased ear has no good chance of breeding.

One of the shelter's caregivers, blessed with good dexterity, made the cat's ears crochet. Perhaps that was what helped her master find her cat.
