Firefighters not only put out fires but also save lives and value.
Moreover, they do not only save human lives if fate brings it that way. All life is important to them and this has been proven when the life of a kitten was in danger when alerted to a fire.
In many cases, it is not the fire itself, that is, the burn, that causes the death, but the smoke poisoning.
Alarm for the house fire, the whole room burned. Human life was not in danger, but a kitten was stuck inside and suffered smoke poisoning.
It was then that the specialists arrived and provided the kitten with extra oxygen until the furry survivor received veterinary care.
